Pegs

Ask ScooterDad: How do I know which pegs will fit with my Axels?

Answer:

You almost always need new, longer axles when adding pegs. You can buy hardened steel bolts at a hardware store or talk to a scooter retailer about longer axles.

Ask ScooterDad: Should I get scooter pegs for my Lucky Crew 2014?

Answer:

This is really a matter of preference, not a recommendation, but I would say no. I hate pegs because they damage ramps. As a parent and ramp owner, I'm constantly having to remove pegs from kids' scooters and then they never have the right axles. Pegs are a pain in the butt. If you do choose to run pegs, always carry your original axles and the tools to swap them out.

Ask ScooterDad: Which peg is overall a better peg? The apex bowie or the tilt chromo

I don't have any experience with the Apex peg, but it looks pretty good. The Tilt pegs are very high quality.
