Ask ScooterDad: Will my lucky steely brake fit on a reventon v2

Answer:

You may only be able to use one of the mounting bolts if the holes don't line up exactly. I don't know if the tabs are the same height and width as the Phoenix Switchblade either, so you might need to trim or remove the tabs.

Ask ScooterDad: Will I need spacers if I use a full size scs proto with a lucky smx fork?

Answer:

It depends on your deck's headtube length, but I'd say get some spacers just in case. Lucky SMX forks are really tall, so you will likely need headset spacers even if you have a full-size SCS. You can always cut the SMX fork and hammer the spacer further in, if you have to.

Ask ScooterDad: Should I get scooter pegs for my Lucky Crew 2014?

Answer:

This is really a matter of preference, not a recommendation, but I would say no. I hate pegs because they damage ramps. As a parent and ramp owner, I'm constantly having to remove pegs from kids' scooters and then they never have the right axles. Pegs are a pain in the butt. If you do choose to run pegs, always carry your original axles and the tools to swap them out.

Ask ScooterDad: i am getting an ethic artefact deck and lucky voodoo bars. Will they be compatible with HIC forks?

Answer:

Typically, as long as your forks aren't meant for IHC or ICS and they are threadless, they should work with HIC. Fork length and headtube length is sometimes an issue though.

Ask ScooterDad: I have a lucky flex fender and the two bolts are stripped! What do I do?

Answer:

Try grabbing the heads with vice grips, if you can. You can also try to jam a screwdriver into the heads to hold them and use a socket wrench on the nuts to get them off.

Take a look at the new 2015 Envy Prodigy and the 2015 Fasen Raven completes. Lucky has some good ones as well.
