Answer:

There are standard bars and oversized bars. Additionally, there are steel bars (standard or oversized) and aluminum bars (standard inner diameter, oversized outer diameter). The type of bars you use will be determined by the type of compression you want to use and vice versa. Standard bars work with threaded compression, IHC, ICS, and small SCS (or fullsized SCS with shim). Oversized bars work with fullsized SCS and HIC. Aluminum bars work with ICS and fullsized SCS.

Answer:

Between the Fuzion Z300 and the Razor Pro XXX, while they are both good scooters, I would definitley go with the Fuzion Z300, which has a threadless integrated headset, flex brake, and HIC compression. While the Razor is good too, between these two specific models, the Fuzion wins out.

Ask ScooterDad: ok so, i have lucky pro bars and a lucky X clamp all my lucky but my bars keep twisting and i get my clamp and HIC as tight as possible help?

Answer:

If your bars don't have a slit cut in them, then it won't matter how tight you make the clamp as it will never grip the HIC shim. Also, if you don't tighten your clamp evenly, it won't squeeze right. Make sure your shim, your clamp, and your bars are clean too as grease and dirt can cause them to slip.

Ask ScooterDad: i am getting an ethic artefact deck and lucky voodoo bars. Will they be compatible with HIC forks?

Answer:

Typically, as long as your forks aren't meant for IHC or ICS and they are threadless, they should work with HIC. Fork length and headtube length is sometimes an issue though.

Ask ScooterDad: I would like to know if there are any other bars that will fit a fuzion

Answer:

I believe all of the newer Fuzion models, like the Z300, use oversized bars with HIC, so any oversized bars should work.

Ask ScooterDad: I have a fuzion pro x3 and I want to put Brandon James cut bars on my scooter will that work

Answer:

The Fuzion Pro X3 has a threaded fork and headset and uses standard diameter bars. The District Brandon James bars are oversized for HIC so they would not work on the Pro X3 without replacing the fork and the headset and converting the scooter to HIC.
