There could be a couple of things causing this. First, clean your bars, your clamp, and your fork to make sure there isn't dirt or grease causing it to slip. Second, make sure that you're using the right diameter clamp for your bars. There is a subtle difference between standard and oversized bars and clamps, so you might have an oversized clamp tighted all the way down on standard bars, but it's really not tight enough to hold it. Third, you can try using a small piece of a popcan as a shim. Cut it into a strip that can wrap around the bars and inside the clamp to provide a little extra thickness.

Ask ScooterDad: Hey i have ethic legion forks and i am running scs with a district clamp and it keeps coming lose after every session of scootering and i tighten it as much as possible each time so i dont know why it keeps coming lose! Please help

It looks like the Ethic Legion forks are meant for ICS, but you can use them with SCS if you cut the top of the forks off and install a starnut. I presume you've done that and you're using SCS correctly. If you haven't, then your SCS will never work correctly. So if you have set it up correctly and it's coming loose, you can add a little bit of heavy machine grease to the compression bolt to cause it to move more slowly under vibrations. Also, make sure that you tighten your bolts a little at a time, but favor the bars or the fork a tad if one is slipping in relation to the SCS. Also, make sure your fork and bars are clean to help the SCS clamp grip them tightly.

Ask ScooterDad: I have an ethic legion fork and I am trying to run hic which I think is the right compression to use anyway I was wondering if you can run hic without a shim because if I used a shim my bars wouldn't fit.

If your bars won't fit with the HIC shim, then you have standard sized bars or possibly aluminum bars. Either way, you can't run HIC without the shim and you need oversized bars to run HIC.
